1. License grant
Subject to these terms, Krishna B / VectorDev.ai grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Vector free of charge for personal or internal business use.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with update or security controls;
- redistribute Vector installers as a competing hosted or packaged product;
- remove proprietary notices from Vector-owned code or product assets; or
- use Vector unlawfully or to violate the rights of another person.
3. Your repositories and provider accounts
You retain ownership of your repositories and outputs. Vector operates through accounts, model providers, deployment providers, and tools that you choose to connect. Their separate terms and charges apply.
4. Third-party software
Vector includes third-party open-source software. Those components remain governed by their original licenses, listed in the Third-Party Notices. This license does not remove rights granted by those licenses for their covered components.
Notwithstanding the restrictions above, for LGPL-covered components and combined works containing them, you may modify the combined work for your own use and reverse engineer it to debug those modifications, to the extent required by the applicable LGPL version. You may also use modified or replacement libraries and replacement or relinked builds as required by that license. Restrictions on updates, security controls, or redistribution do not override those rights. This exception does not grant additional rights to redistribute Vector-owned materials beyond the rights provided by the applicable third-party license.
5. Updates and availability
Updates are provided free of charge when available. Features may evolve, and external services may change independently. Vector does not guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party providers.
6. Warranty and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vector is provided “as is” and without warranties. You are responsible for reviewing generated code, maintaining backups, and approving commands, deployments, and browser actions. VectorDev.ai is not liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages.
VectorDev.ai's aggregate liability for claims arising from the software is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid Vector in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that applicable law prohibits limiting, and do not limit your non-waivable consumer rights.
7. Termination
The license may be suspended or terminated for material breach or fraud. Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, restrictions, disclaimers, and third-party notices, continue to apply.
